Parasitism is one of the major problems that affect the productivity of camels. Surra, a protozoan disease can affect most domesticated mammals and some wild species, lowers the quantity of meat, milk, hides, cause abortion and reduction in working efficiency or may even result in death of the camels. The disease is the most important single cause of economic losses in camel rearing areas, causing both morbidity and mortality to animals. Therefore, I find it of utmost impotence to undertake this study to provide updated information on the Prevalence and Haematological effects of Trypanosoma evansi on camels and infectivity study in Albino Rats of the parasite which can help immensely to the disease management. The work was divided into five chapters; 1. Introduction 2. Literature Review 3.Methodology 4. Results and lastly 5.Discussion and Recommendations.
