Of all the film industries "out there," Hollywood §retains the most dominant share of the international §marketplace with 57% in 2006. This has lead to §growing concern that Hollywood's dominance of the §international cinematic and media marketplace, not §only stymies smaller foreign industries, but in a §cultural imperialistic way also influences foreign §societies and cultures.
