Seventeen hundred years ago, an unknown monk or scribe copied a gospel detailing the last three days of Jesus' life from the perspective of Judas Iscariot. The English translation of the "Gospel of Judas" published here is based on the collaborative work of Rodolphe Kasser, marvin Meyer, and Gregor Wurst, along with Francois Gaudard. Footnotes and endnotes help explain meaning, while the commentary that follows the translation help to place the Gospel in its proper historical and religious context.
