This book is the result of years of research in the field of youth culture and its relationship with music in Bengal. It follows the history of counterculture, and its relationship with alternative music. The work uses secondary references for review of literature, and primary data collected and analysed by the author from her fieldwork in Kolkata and its suburbs.
