A perpetual motion machine this can never exist. But energy sources nearly disregarded up to now they exist. These are energy sources, which have been hardly under investigation, so that mankind did not yet learn how to get benefit from them. Most part of the universe consists of such energy, which is still called invisible . A part of this energy is to be found within the so called zero-point oscillations of the quantum vacuum, thus within the empty void from the perspective of quantum physics. §As early as 1891, Nikola Tesla spoke about the use of the energy of the empty space to the American Institute of Electrical Engineering . Even in the 1920s and 1930s the founders of quantum theory identified the so-called zero-point oscillations as a significant proportion of this energy. Nevertheless during a long period of time, nobody explored the use of this energy, although mankind needs energy urgently. Only towards the end of the 20th Century, nearly 100 years after Tesla, we start the exploration of this inexhaustible reservoir of energy, which has the important advantage to be free from any pollution of our environment. Investigation of this energy source is important and should not wait, in order to rescue our habitat, our earth. §The author of the book is scientist (physicist). He theoretically developed and then experimentally verified a method for the conversion of vacuum energy into classical mechanical energy. His technique is one of the very few approaches know up to now. Although he could convert a machine power of only 150 NanoWatts up to now, the fundamental principle of Physics for the conversion of vacuum energy is invented. The method plays a pioneering role. It is described here in many scientific details, and it is compared with other known proposals for the use of vacuum energy. The next step of research should be the enhancement of the generated machine power in order to come to technical useful dimensions. This is a lot of work still to be done. By the way, the author published all his results for the free benefit of everybody. He did not patent anything. He is thinks that this is the way to prevent humans from fighting for energy.
