Higher education institutions are arenas to which students from diverse background come to the Show - education. However, as much as students' diversity is an input for teaching and learning, it can lead to misunderstandings and conflicts, which affect the academic and social climate of campuses. Universities therefore need to be equipped with diversity-sensitive- conflict-management mechanisms. This book discusses the causes of campus conflicts and their management mechanisms from a multicultural perspective. It makes a critical analysis and an in-depth investigation of on-campus conflicts by taking one of the universities of Ethiopia as a case.
