This book provides a broad outline of drip fertigation in rice. Rice crop requires very large amount of water under the traditional flood irrigation method. However, due to growing demand in the domestic and industrial sectors, water is becoming increasingly scarce, and there is a need to develop water saving irrigation techniques that require less irrigation water than the traditional methods.
