Anglické vydání monografie o životě a díle Ladislava Sutnara. Jeho česká tvorba je mezinárodně uznávána a reprezentovala české umění na důležitých zahraničních výstavách. Ladislav Sutnar v USA založil moderní vizuální komunikaci, např. firemní vizuální styl nebo různé formy informativních pomůcek v oblastech průmyslu, marketingu, popularizace vědy a ekologie. Jeho práce s informacemi předznamenává internet. Zároveň design odráží a často předstihuje soudobý vývoj volného umění. Sutnar se stal také jedním z prvních publicistů a teoretiků grafického designu. Jeho americká tvorba představuje dnes již klasickou kapitolu ve všech encyklopediích designu.
