Migrating from place to place is a fact of life for§many in today's world. Globalization and increased§interdependence privilege some people to emigrate to§work, study and get new experiences in different§parts of the globe. The children of these mobile§families are called 'third culture kids' (TCKs). This§book aims to find out how a multicultural childhood§affects one's sense of place. The study asks what is§'place for' (meaning of place) and 'place of'§(question of belonging) adult third culture kids.§Also the relationship between place and mobility, as§well as place and memory, are discussed.
