Er prägte maßgeblich das Erscheinungsbild des Braun-Konzerns, sein Name steht außerdem hinter dem Portfolio des Möbelproduzenten Vitsoe. Basierend auf dem Leitspruch "So wenig Design wie möglich", sind Rams' Entwürfe schlicht, aufs Wesentliche reduziert und klar in der Form.
