Conventional root form implants became a normal predictable treatment option to restore edentulous maxilla and mandible but restoring the lost alveolar dimensions such as narrow ridges, knife-edge ridges and severely atrophied ridges needs to be considered to have a predictable option for long term success and satisfactory results in the elderly patients.
